MPAJU SPORTS INNOVATION WEEK 2022 EVENT

 Mpaju Sports Centre was among the organizers of the Mbeya Regional Edition of Innovation Week Tanzania 2021(IWTz2022) from 9th to 14th May 2022. The main host of the event was Mbeya

University of science and technology (MUST) and the sponsors include the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Commission of Science and Technology (COSTECH). Innovation Week Tanzania 2022 Mbeya edition involved various activities such as workshop, panel discussions, Girls IT Boot camp, Trainings, Research seminars, hackathons, thematic conferences, innovations exhibition, pitching, networking sessions in the evening and wonderful exhibitions from NGOs, Private and Public sector.  This year Themes were as follows:

Main: “INNOVATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

1.         Green and blue innovations for a hunger-free future

2.         Policy and institutional frameworks for a vibrant innovation ecosystem

3.         Innovation for a future proof education system

4.         Inclusive digital connectivity - Leaving no one behind

5.         Innovation financing for job creation

Starting with football, Mpaju Sports Group is determined to contribute in sustainable development of Tanzania through acquainting the athletic population with innovation and entrepreneurship competences necessary competitive participation in world economic arena. Mpaju Sports Centre organized three events. The first was the launching of the Mpaju Sports Innovation Hub, where presentations and discussion were made to ensure Athletes in Mbeya are aware of the hub and innovation week Tanzania (See Photos below).

The second event was the exhibitions of the Mpaju Sports Innovation activities, which included the show case of Foldable Football Goal post for U-12 children (See the Video below)
